Directed by Star Mazzi the music video shows Brookes’ sexy and bossy side as she sits in a chair covered in plastic while dark red liquid pours over her body. The fire and blood metaphors are heavily depicted. When asked why such heavy usage of fire and blood Brooke responded that she felt “bossed up” and that she wanted to show how protected she is. In the scene by herself, Brooke’s desire was to convey that “Even when I’m alone, I can still carry my own weight.”
