AR Paisley – Lemon Pepper Freestyle (Video)

The Mississauga artist has been making a name for himself in his hometown and beyond since bursting onto the scene in 2017 with his Screwface album, which featured five cuts addressing his come up, haters, and his love for his hometown with lyrical barrages that compare to shots from a semi-automatic.

His latest offering doesn’t disappoint either, borrowing a production from another Ontario artist some of you may have heard of by the name of Drake. Paisley starts out by telling us that he:

“Lost my pops when I was 18, that turned me into a grown man”

“Didn’t ask for no one’s help, I became my own man”

Before harking back to some familiar themes with the lines “my bro says stack up and you should move away for good, but I wouldn’t even do that if I could” and “the women in my life all tell me I got issues with commitment, cause when it gets serious, I get distant”.

Overall, it’s a solid addition to the emerging artist’s growing catalog and one that makes us look forward to what’s next.
