“New York rap artist Fivio Foreign drops his music video for single “13 going on 30.”
After gaining popularity from the release of his 2019 single “Big Drip,” which received a remix by American Rappers artists Lil Baby and Quavo, Fivio Foreign is back with a track that is set to raise the bar. 2020 saw the rapper mostly feature on other artist’s songs, but 2021 seems to be his. Featured on his upcoming project B.I.B.L.E, “13 going on 30” hears Foreign rap about his successes that found past friends turn their backs on him, and about the challenges he faced personally in the last year:
“My b—h is pregnant, my mom’s in the hospital dying”
“I’m losin’ my crib, my life in a blender”
The New York native’s music video to accompany the song was directed by JLShotThat. Since its release on August 21, 2020 it has already gained almost 8 million views and shows the rapper’s rise to fame; showcasing his lavish life in clubs, studios and expensive cars. The video also features cameos from earlier years of fellow rapper Rich the Kid as well as the late Pop Smoke, whose early 2020 death left a huge impact on not only fellow rappers like Foreign, but also the music industry as a whole.
“RIP Pop Smoke”
“We gon’ take this s—t to the top”
“The smoke will never clear”
Foreign’s upcoming debut album with his label Columbia Records – which does not have a release date yet – is much anticipated by fans who believe “13 going on 30” is one of the artists best songs yet, showing growth and leaving fans wanting more. Seems like all those friends that left don’t even matter anymore.
