Bandmanrill and Sha Ek Reunite for Jiggy in Jersey Pt 2

Bandmanrill and Sha Ek come together once again for the high-energy track “Jiggy in Jersey Pt 2”. The first part was released in late June of this year and accumulated over a million listens on Spotify, with fans eagerly awaiting a follow-up from the pair. Finally the wait is over, with this sequel track dropping on the Rari Digital youtube channel and bringing with it even more energy than the original.

New Jersey born-and-raised, 20 year old rapper Bandmanrill began releasing music in 2020. The artist quickly received recognition for his unique, rapid-fire, and savage flows spit over New Jersey club-style beats. Early hits for him include “Bullet”, “MR.DONTCUFFTHAT”, and “HEARTBROKEN”, all of which have earned millions of listens on all platforms. Banmanrill has also utilized TIktok heavily, where he posts a combination of humorous videos and behind-the-scenes footage of his songs

He is joined on this track by Sha Ek, a Bronx born 19 year old with an extremely aggressive style.  Sha began releasing music at just 15, originally going for a more melodic style. But the young rapper’s deep and full-bodied voice eventually pushed him to try Drill, which is the genre he is most active in today. His first full length LP, “Face of What”, released in September of this year.

Non-Stop Savage Bars over a Eurodance Classic

Jiggy in Jersey Pt 2 was produced by EMRLD, and has a prominent sample for the german dance classic “Around the World ” by ATC. The energy of this sample is matched easily by the 808, which is doing a classic Jersey club pattern. Bandmanrill and Sha Ek start trading lines immediately, with extremely ignorant and undeniable bars (“who are you/you a bitch/I never heard of you taking a risk”). This song is one minute and forty five seconds of non-stop intensity, and demands to be replayed as soon as it’s over.

The video is the second collaboration between Bandmanrill and videographer Rari Digital. Previously the duo worked together on Bandmanrill’s single “Heartbreak”, which netted a fantastic visual so it’s clear why they return again. Once the video begins, it is a non-stop assault of transitions, effects, color shifting, and stylish transitions. Bandmanrill, Sha Ek, and their crew rap directly into the camera, assaulting the senses with their confidence and aggression. The video feels just as eclectic and intense as the track itself, and makes for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
