Award-winning rapper Fame Holiday has released the music video for his hit song “We Outside,” starring Bronx rapper A Boogie wit da hoodie. The track is part of Fame’s fourth album, Strictly for Summer, which hit the scene in August 2022. 

Fame draws inspiration from Drake, who holds a special place in his heart. Fame started rapping at the age of six. His first recorded and released song was over Drake’s “Forever” instrumental when he was 14. He dreams of collaborating with Drake one day, as he feels their sounds would complement each other perfectly.

Fame Holiday has been making a name for himself in the Canadian music scene since he was 14. He represents the Other Side of Toronto (O.S.O.T), a collective that embraces those outside the Big Smoke. Fame Holiday’s music reflects his upbringing and is heavily influenced by the sounds of iconic artists such as 50 Cent, Nipsey Hussle, Big Sean, and Chris Brown.

In 2020, Fame had his first viral hit with the release of “My Thang,” which garnered over 500,000 streams on Spotify. The song was also featured on editor playlists such as Hip Hop Central, Northern Bars, and New Music Friday Canada. In August 2022, he hosted his first festival, Fame Fest, in partnership with the City of Mississauga, at the city’s famous Celebration Square. Fame’s talent and charisma continue to captivate audiences and his peers alike, with artists such as Davido and DVSN inviting him to open for their concerts.
