Toronto rapper Young Smoke releases an official music video for the song “Block Boy.”

Young Smoke, a notable rapper from Toronto, dropped his official music video earlier this year called “Block Boy.“ His debut music video „Days By Da Rabba“ was released in late 2018, and the fame he got after it helped him climb his steps on the music scene.

CR-produced and King Bee-directed set this project on a whole other level. “Block Boy” premiered on January 28, 2021, and is already racking up more than 38k views on YouTube. It is a follow-up of his single “Sticks and Drums,” released on November 18, 2020, and the collaboration song with Puffy L’z called “Have it,” which premiered one day before “Block Boy.”

Young Smoke grew up on Hip-Hop and Rap music since his older brother significantly influenced him growing up. His brother Smoke Dawn, unfortunately, passed away after being shot to death in 2018. Since Dawn’s passing, Young Smoke took the loss very hard, so he decided to continue in his brother’s steps. He is keeping his brother’s legacy and supports the family through the work of making music.

“Block Boy” indeed shows how much this young artist stands out amongst many rappers from Toronto. After releasing this song, he continued with dropping more great music. The latest songs that Young Smoke has released in 2021 are the single “4 Tha Streetz” and “Big Body,” a collab project with Lil Berete and Tizzy Stackz.

Mainly using his self-made samples, Young Smoke shows how professional and original he is in his work. The music he makes will get you hooked up pretty quickly, and his unique voice and powerful lyrics will not keep you indifferent.
