Rapper Killy, who started rapping in 2015, soon became involved with the Toronto nightlife and made connections. He recorded several songs in one session in 2015 and released all of them as singles in 2016. 

He dropped his first song, “Big Bux”, and gained some respect in his city. . In February 2017, he released Killamonjaro, which went viral and was certified Platinum in Canada in January 2019. 

The song’s popularity garnered Killy an interview on Adam22’s “No Jumper” podcast and a feature on Drake’s OVO Sound Radio. With the newly earned glory, he kept releasing new tracks and making his own little fandom.

Killy worked on his first album,” Surrender Your Soul”, for almost two years. It was released on March 5, 2018. The album received positive reviews from Complex and Pitchfork news; “No Sad No Bad” peaked at number 65 on the Canadian Hot 100 songs.

In 2018 he dropped his EP “Killstreak” with 5 tracks on it; it got a second volume in 2021. The volume 2 included 14 songs and got even more attention. He even made a deluxe version of the EP with a collaboration, “Dead Faces” with AJ Tracey.

He is known for his interesting flow and bars that will get you hooked on the song for days. He has slowly but surely incorporated himself into the Toronto music scene.
