Burgz is Back with “Road Again”

Scarborough’s Burgz has made another fantastic track with the drop of “Road Again”, a track full of heart and dripping with the artist’s signature style. With the exceptional flows that the rapper is known for, this music video premieres with the artist in his full form. Tap into this brand new song and see exactly what Burgz is made of.

Born under the name Earl Eubank, Burgz started his journey into music at the young age of ten years old with the “What We Do Freestyle” (unreleased). As a highschooler, recording music became the artist’s primary hobby under the encouragement of his community. He became confident in his recording style, dropping songs such as “Err Freestyle”, “We Back Soon”, “Paper Right” and many more. Blowing up in his local scene, Burgz noticed larger producers, artists, and other celebrities interacting with him online. Now the CEO of his own independent record label “Lidge Entertainment”, Burgz is continuing to make his move into the next level of his career.

“Road Again” marks Burgz’s first major release of 2022, with the artist coming out in full force. The return of Burgz is something to be celebrated, his hiatus over we are looking forward to what Burgz has to show for us in the future

Keep It Real, No Pretend

Sampled R&B chops are pitched way up in the instrumental of this track. The minimal percussion keeps a cool pace throughout the song, with a smooth bass holding everything down. Burgz spits bars about taking time away from music, but using this break from the craft as a reinvigoration for his next efforts. “Book me now I’m doing shows again” the artist rhymes on the chorus, letting the world know that Burgz is back and fresher than ever. A top-tier effort from the Scarborough rapper.

Phase Four takes the visual direction for this tune, with a focus on Burgz talents as a performer. Footage of the rapper taking the stage throughout the city is intercut with him spitting against the background of the Toronto skyline. The camera warps and curves as the rapper and his crew stumble through the downtown streets, drinks in hand. Concluding the video is candid footage from the audience shortly after Burgz took the stage.  “Make some noise for the young artist” the host says as gunshot drops are played by the DJ. Judging by the video, a Burgz live show seems like an awesome event.

Burgz is on Instagram, where you can peep the latest drops for this talented artist as well as candid shots of his life in the city. “Road Again” is on all streaming services right now, take a listen and welcome this artist back into the scene from his short break.
