Tory Lanez gets a Third Charge in the Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case

Tory Lanez has been slapped with yet another charge in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case.

The third felony charge came on Monday December 5th, where prosecutors accused Lanez of “discharging a firearm with gross negligence”. The initial charges laid against Tory included assault with a semi-automatic firearm, as well as carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle. To both, he has pleaded not guilty.

With a maximum sentence of 22 years and 8 months in prison now being leveled against him, the Toronto artist is now facing some serious time if he is convicted on all three counts.

But his attorney, George Mgdesyan, doesn’t seem to be phased by this new charge, believing that Mr. Lanez is going to get out of the case scot-free.

“We are confident that at the conclusion of this trial the truth will come out,” Mgdesyan has stated. “Mr. Peterson will be exonerated of all charges.”

On Tuesday, Tory took to twitter with his own message about the trial, saying “No weapon formed against me shall prosper….EVER”.

Tory Lanez Case

The Megan Thee Stallion accusations began in July of 2020, with Tory Lanez being hit with a gag order preventing him from discussing the case. Megan, however, has no such order.

“He started shooting, and I’m just like, ‘oh my God.’ He shot a couple of times. And I didn’t even want to move. I don’t want to move too quick like ’cause I’m like ‘oh my God’ if I take the wrong step, I don’t know if he can shoot something that’s like super important.’ I don’t know if he could shoot me and kill me,” Megan said in April. She added “I was really scared because I had never been shot at before.”

Croxxings will continue to follow this story as it develops.
